I will be returning to the US with my 4 children after a year in the UK. My husband needs to stay a bit longer and will be following us later. Our flight will be booked with one airline, but there are three legs in our trip. We will go from Glasgow to Dublin and Dublin to Boston on Aer Lingus and from Boston to Washington, DC on American Airlines. Since the flights are all booked together on the Aer Lingus website, can I assume that our luggage will be transferred automatically? The last leg is a domestic flight, so will I have to go through customs in DC once I collect my bags or in Boston? I need to make sure I have enough help with the children (the youngest is 3) and all the luggage while we struggle through customs!

On Monday, I looked up a flight from Chicago to LA using Expedia's flexible dates option - and had dozens and dozens of direct flights at $193 all over February. Taxes&fees included. I was a click away from booking...
Then on Tuesday ("cheap Tuesday?"), ALL nonstop Chi-LA flights in 2007 in ANY web site start at $305.

Besides banging my head on the table until it cracks open, can someone help demistify how can such a thing happen?? Obviously this has nothing to do with availability, not everyone bought their 2007 LA tickets on Monday.
Should I still wait longer, or would the price just keep raising? I need a flight around Feb. 14-19.

When I stepped off the plane in Luxor August 2002, It was apparently 35 degrees centigrade, but it surprising didnt feel like 35 centigrade. I have noticed that the TYPE of heat compared to e.g. Britain and France is different. Its that dry heat which feels kinda weird and it feels kind of.....as if the air is tighter. Is it even the heat or is it the air? Believe it or not (even with the humidity), Egypt's 35 centigrade did NOT feel like Britain's 35 centigrade.

If anyone has been to Egypt or the Middle East in the summertime, can anyone compare the TYPE of heat to Britain? Can anyone please describe that type of heat please. (please describe anyway you can.....thank you)

Anyone done anything similar? at the time i just took it in my stride, only now do i look back and think "hey, i did quite well there", went round the coast of europe from bilbao, through to Italy, into Greece, through Turkey into Iran, through to Pakistan, then India, Then all round Australia...
