If you go with British Airways:

Not counting going through Airport security and luggage check, it takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to fly from Heathrow and land in Oslo.

If you go with other Airlines it takes 4 - 7 hours because they make a stop in Amsterdam!

London is a good place to invest the holyday in family, particularly with young ones because in London are lots of kid-friendly areas to go to and that Hotelbye is the area to begin knowing. In London you can get in close proximity and personal with underwater creatures at SEALIFE London Aquarium or explore the Science Museum, London's involved heart of science and technology and both are perfect for fun family holyday in London. London also offers for visiting the Tate Modern, Britain's national museum of contemporary and modern art. And, perhaps not your investment SEALIFE London Aquarium; your home of 500 species of marine life, from sharks and piranhas to Nemo-style clownfish. London is certainly a unique city.

SAS, BA, and Norwegian fly nonstops from London airports to Oslo's main airport, Gardermoen. (Oslo's "other" airport, Torp TRF, is actually 100km south of Oslo).

Norwegian, from Stansted, has a morning flight scheduled for 2h, 05m, and an evening flights scheduled for 2h exactly.

SAS's flights, several each day from Heathrow, are scheduled to take 2h, 05m to 2h, 15 min.

BA's flights, also several each day from Heathrow, are scheduled to take 2h, 15m.

British Midland sells tickets on this route as well, but these flights are actually operated by codeshare partner SAS.

Ryanair's Stansted-Torp flights are scheduled to take 1h, 55m.
