Pittsburgh has a really cool cultural district with theaters, symphony, ballet, etc. There's lots of sports stuff (Penguins, Pirates, Steelers, Washington Wildcats, colleges, etc.). There are tons of cool museums like the Carnegie Science Center, Heinz History Center, Jimmy Stewart Museum, Westmoreland Museum of Art, Trolley Museum, Fort Necessity, etc. There's lots of outdoor activities too like boating on the three rivers, whitewater rafting the Youghiogheny, tons of rail trails, North Country Scenic Trail, Laurel Highlands, McConnells Mill State Park, Raccoon Creek State Park, Moraine State Park,...

Western PA is great and there's tons of stuff to do.
