Travel - 27 January 2007

I'm thinking about an evening course which will require me to travel to London three evenings a week - there are very few parkig facilities, so the other option is the train and tube - I'm a litle concerned about this - saftey and security issues, but this course is also important ( i live about 2 hours away) - what does everyone think?

I am going to India next month and I love the beaded slippers (shoes) for women. I am curious how much they run in the small shops where you negotiate with the shopkeeper. What would be my "best price" on a pair of fancy shoes and what would be too high? I am also interested in scarves and small purses for gifts.
