If ur talking about entertainment then heres a list:
ipod- though u cant listen to it during takeoff and landing but u can listen to the music the airline provides u
laptop- even though u cant use internet but u can watch movies in case the plane doesnt have a tv
book- i see a lot of people do that in my years of a flight attendant
or soem video game thignie
And wear comfortable clothes!!

Some airlines, like Frontier and jetBlue, have DirecTV, and others, like United and US Airways, have music (United also has ATC on Channel 9). JetBlue and AirTran have XM. So check into those! It's worth it on long flights.

otherwise just bring nothing. nowadays planes have their own entertainment system. you can watch movies, listen to musics, even play games. there are so many movies and songs to choose.

starting this summer, continental will have on demand movieis on all intl flights in all classes...... but the mile high club is always a good place to start!!!!
