Always wanted to escape to live in the islands, any suggestions?

35 years old. How much would it take to find a bungalow and live? Annual cost ( approximately) for boat, food, drink and the occassional spoils?

save for a cruise and have enough money to live on for a year plus half of that extra. have an idea or two of how to earn money while youre there if inhabited by other people. you will have to think like a stranded person if you dont bring enough supplies or if youre not on an island with other people. i couldnt do it. good luck.

Damn you got it like that. If not save a lot . Take a trip to Jamaica Negril check it out for two weeks and I am sure you wouldn;t want to return.
