I am moving and on looking through my bank account found this direct debit. Don't like to cancel it just in case.

This is something to do with Telefonica.
Telefonica de España Sociadad Autonimo
Go to the bank and ask, because Telefonica are very clever at fleecing people. For example if you cancel your adsl, of course they will do it immediately....but watch your bill they will continue to charge you 2€ every quarter until you spot it and have a discussion with them. Just imagine if they are doing that to 1000's of people here....nice little profit eh?

I live in Spain and whenever I get a direct debit I don't recognise I go down to my local office. However, i checked this out on the Internet for you and it says that it's to do with Telefonica. Although all of my Telefonica bills are marked with 'Telefonica'. You should be able to check out your account on-line though, if you can't wait till Monday.

I have looked it up and there are a few pages about it, but they are not in English.

I am guessing they are in Spanish.
