i'm thinking about about driving coast to coast (NC to CA) via 40W in Raleigh, NC, and hitting route 66 for as long as i can along the way. a few questions: where do i get on/off of route 66? any safety concerns such as fuel, bad road conditions or highway robbers (if they even exist anymore in any real numbers)? are there any ghost towns along the way and if so, where are they?

I leave for Miami in less than three days. I'll be going to college there (Miami International University of Art & Design). I've heard all this crap from everyone and it's making me a nervous wreck. I'm not a party girl type and I'm not really "street smart." I'm so worried about the crime and the traffic, especially since I've just started driving.

Am I getting all nervous for no reason? Or do I have good reason to feel this way?

i have a Buddhist Traditions class, and big part of my grade is going to see a real temple and interview a priest. I'm american, and i'm jewish and i've been to church or temple about 5 times in my whole life, so i know nothing about religious protocal. can i just walk into a temple and ask to see someone? does anyone have any good interview questions to ask him? does anyone know any good temples for doing this? i live kind of near Gokoku Ji so i was thinking of going to that temple, but is it too big and busy for this assignment? any advice would be appreciated. thanks a lot.

is there something wrong with the globe telecom provider?

im here in the Us right now and im having trouble with globe..

i've been recieving same text messages over and over again.. not to exaggerate but more than 15 times per message.. and there are some messages that i didn't receive at all..

i've been sending messages to the Philippines who are also under "globe" through my "cingular" provider but they aren't receiving it either..
