someone told me that there is a train going to beijing from kowloon but as i checked it in the internet it was too expensive

what is the name of the train? how much did you spend for a round trip? how long is the trip? where is the station for that specific train?
i'm not from hong kong but i plan to travel from hong kong to china.

well seems that you've already found it but you don't like it because it's too expensive...why don't you travel between the two places with planes? much cheaper and faster.

It's actually a better value than HK - Shanghai which is about half the journey but is only 10% cheaper.
If you go with the cheapest bunk (top) within the special period with 20% discounts, the ticket is less than US$60 per person round trip. I would hardly consider that expensive for a ride almost 2 days each way.
Frankly, the soft sleeper is not that expensive and you will get far more privacy and security with the extra cost.

It runs from Hung Hom in Kowloon to Beijing.It departs frequently and tickets are cheaper than planes.

Yea I flew from Hong Kong to Beijing. Much easier (for me, at least).

travailing in china by train is not cheap anymore...unless you get on last class...the hard wood bench-seat...
