When in Iceland how many people get in the mud before its replaced?

...that hotel tub of mud thingee ,it always stuck in my mind? ...oh ,not the mud.

The Hot Pot is what its called ,I am just learning the culture.Thease are all over the place,an the mud is a sorta brown volcanic.

the mud is replaced continuously, due to global warming. a concierge is responsible for the technicalities.

my question is, do they really use metamucil to keep old faithful regular?
