i work in tourist area in thailand . i notice one thing that lots of toursits (especially western tourists) use their feet to point at the things that selling in a stall. even some stall put their products on a table, tourist still use a foot to point on the products.
u know for thai people, using a foot to point at something, it's very very rude and uncivilize, also low educate.

I am going to be in San Diego for a week during July. I will be traveling with my 4 yr. old son. We would like to be on or near the beach. I would prefer a room with a kitchenette, but it is not necessary. I can spend around $250 a night. It doesn't have to be the newest, most modern place, but it does need to be family friendly, quiet and clean. Any suggestions?

Also, besides Sea World, the zoo, and the beach, are there any other things we could do as a family? Keep in mind a 4 yr. old's attention span and potential crankiness.

I'm possibly planning a visit to Quebec City this weekend, specifically on Christmas Eve. Will things in general be open, and will there be stuff to do? How late will stores in general stay open until then?

I am just utterly confused with the layout of Berlin's city. It seems there are so many regions, mitte, kreuzberg, tiergarten, etc... Could someone suggest me a downloadable map of Berlin? Also I need help with:

1. Where exactly is Ku'damm area? And the KaDaWe which is supposedly in Ku'damm?
2. Is Ostbahnhof the same train station as Zoo Station? I have been seeing only Zoo station on the map when I really need to get to Ostbahnhof.
3. Suggest me a place to stay (preferably a cheap, affordable hostel) close to both Ostbahnhof and Ku'Damm area?
4. Is Ku'Damm area near to all the tourist attractions in Berlin?

I would appreciate any help, thank you!
