cab companys???!! try cabs in nyc and take your pick, some cabbys are great but alot are brain dead.

Once in Puerto Rico the cabbie crossed over the center divider and drove on the wrong side of the road because I told him I was in a hurry.....Quite an experience.

Any one you get at LAX.
They all claim that they can't do credit card transactions when you get to your destination. When you tell them you only pay by credit card, all of a sudden the machine works.
