Have a sis visiting from Germany. Live in Seattle WA since October but don't know the place to well yet. What can I show her to impress her. She is 35, single and loves traveling. She has seen alot of nice places in other words, and I want to show her things around here to make her go ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, nice.....Love turkish food (we'r turks) any good suggestions?

In past 10 years Bangalore has seen a tremendous growth, particularly in IT sector. But in the name of globalization, don’t you think we are loosing our culture and local language (Kannada). What can be done to save our Kannada language in Bangalore? Why people coming from other state for a long term to Bangalore do not learn Kannada?

During the summer I'm studying Mandarin in China for about a month and a half. I'm currently a junior in highschool, but next year I'll be a senior. However, what I was wondering is: is there a certain behavior I should be following whilst in China? What are some things I definitely SHOULD DO/ SHOULD NOT DO?

When I go to China I really just don't want to offend anyone, and present and good face in representation of my state and country (U.S).

So, anyone have any tips...?

I live in NW Arkansas. I am willing to travel up to 500 miles away. I would consider camping as an alternative to staying in a hotel. I have 2 kids ages 8 and 11. All of the family enjoys being outdoors and sports.
