I have been to Dayton many times. I recommend the museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, The Wright Brother's House and Bycicle Shop, and only about 30-45 min south of Dayton is Kings Island, which is great for adrenaline junkies and coaster fanatics.

The Air Force Museum is awesome. If you like baseball, you could try to get tickets to the Dayton Dragons, they are really popular, and right down on the riverfront. And if you are feeling adventerous, you could get in your car and drive about 35 minutes south, to the Mason area, and go to Paramount's Kings Island, which is one of the best roller coaster theme parts in the country.

There isn't a whole bunch. They have a really cool air force museum. Other than that, I didn't see much.
