should i shoot heavy aluminiums? my dad said they penetrate more. he said even if you throw a wiffle ball 80 mph and a baseball 60 what would hurt more and its obviously the baseball so is it better to have flat-shooting carbons or heavy aluminiums. and can you tell me the exact arrows to buy

I need a good air rifel. One that can drop a squrriel with ease and rabbits. And with a couple shots: Coons, Possums,etc.

I am wondering if I could shoot a 30-06? The biggest gun I have shot is a .243, and I think that has a little kick, but not alot. What is a 30-06 like compared to this? I am 5'3", 95 LBS., but I am really scrawny. Do you think I could shoot this gun? Or what age could I shoot this gun comfortably at? And how much stronger is the 150 grain bullet compared to the 180 grain bullet? Is the kick alot different?

I'm looking for a gun for a 14 year old with some defensive value (not like a .22LR.) We have bears in our woods and things like that so i'd like him to have it. In a 40 OZ. revolver what would a .44 special feel like compared to a sig 228's 9mm. He handles 9mm recoil very well.

If the recoil is really that bad what's a good cartridge.

Note: Trust me he's no beginner!

Is there any way to know how many bullets are in a clip of a gun without actually taking out every bullet and counting them? For example lets say someone hands you a clip to a pistol, rifle, or semi auto, could you tell if between if it had say 4 or 30 bullets in it? Thanks for any information.

Why do people hang dead deer from their trees and garage rafters and such. I find the image disturbing in that can't-look-but-have-to way ... but I assume there must be a reason aside from some primitive need to show one's hunter/gather prowess. Very curious ... since I am living in Michigan and see A LOT of this.

i got a daisy model 808 scope that is a pain in the *** when i try to sight it. i line up the crosshairs at my target about 10ft away shoot then i adjust. i step back 10 more ft. aim and my shot isnt even on the paper. what am i doing wrong or is it just the scope?

whats a good cheap scope i could use?
what method of sighting should i use?

I want a good rifle or muzzleloader. I am looking at the Mosin Nagant, SKS, CVA Buckhorn, and Mossberg 500-590. I dont have that muck $$$ cuase i am on a budget. My dad says gets muzzleloader, that way I can hunt longer. I aready have a shotgun for deer, and ml's and shotguns are all we can hunt with in my state. I want a rifle, just to have one. A shotgun for home defense, and a muzzle loader for hunting. What should I get? I mostly want a good cheap military surpplus rifle. Heard alotta good about the mosin and the SKS...Give me some insight...Thanks...

I was lookin around for a little pellet gun just to screw around with out at my dads place in the country. I'm lookin for a handgun type gun so, what's a good pellet pistol, I've seen a couple decent looking ones like the Crosman T4 ops, and the desert eagle replica but i dont know yet.
