an abattoir charge to kill and cut a turkey??

Here is the U.S. most Arbattoir's (Slaughterhouses) process hundreds of Turkeys a day as commercial meat processors. We really don't have Butchers or individual Arbattoirs where we could take a single Turkey and have it processed (Killed-Cleaned-Feathers removed etc) like you would have in the U.K. We wind up processing what we get ourselves

members of the public are not permitted to take their own livestock or carcasses into an abattoir ....one of the workers may accept a backhander but should come to your property to slaughter the turkey
