Timney's are good and what I have on my .22-250. Jewells's are real good but real expensive. I would probably only put that on a target rifle. But if you just want an improvement, Timney is the way to go.

I replaced mine with a Timney and it is Sa-weet. I don't know about the others beyond the fact that they are quality triggers. The Timney trigger is probably cheaper than the others if that is a factor for you. Any of them will make a significant improvement over the factory trigger. I guess what it comes down to is which trigger feels best to you. If you have not shot a gun with any of the triggers that you mentioned so that you have developed a feel for one trigger over the other, then just get whichever one you can get the best price on and you will be delighted with the results.

I have not shot a Jewell but from experience with other rifles the Timney.

Well, these guys already said it all. The Jewell is good, but costly. If you're just hunting one season a year and not doing a lot of shooting, the Timney is very adequate and affordable. I put Timneys in Mausers and they are good and hold up forever.

You should try the jewell. I have never put it on any of my rifles, but I know lots of people who have and they love them. Some of them like jewell better than timney after they switched from one to the other.

Timney or take it to a competent Gunsmith and have him hone it for you.*
