When i was young im guessing 10 years i shot a bird with an old .22 pistol and it took me 2 - 3 shots to dispatch it .

I came home and wept in my room for hours.
is there any way i can get back in to hunting for meat e.g rabbits because im still tramatised.

My friend's husband hunts and got a doe and another deer which he will mount on their bedroom wall - above their bed!!?? It sickens and disgusts me. I also ran across the hunting show while channel surfing and it made my physically ill. I know hunting used to be necessary for survival but to see someone shoot a beautiful deer or any animal now just for fun just disturbs me so much.

We are going to process & wrap it ourselves. I know it depends on the weight of each deer, but I mean just in general. I want to get a little more room than we really need so we have plenty of room, but it is just the two of us & I do not want to spend any more than I have to.
