We see this over and over in movies. It seems far too easy.
And there is never a dangerous ricochet? I would not try it close up without eye protection. I assume it depends on the power of the handgun, the type of bullet, and the strength of the steel mechanism in the padlock. Perhaps someone has tried this or knows from police or military training. Where do you aim? Which part of the lock is vulnerable if any? [This may seem like a dumb question, but I've always wondered about this.]

I'm on a tight budget and I want to buy a gun. I won't use it for defense or anything like that, but just to have fun at the range.

I went to a gun show trying to find something under $100 but I couldn't find almost anything for under $200.

I know that quality guns are expensive but I feel bad that I can't even find a used gun for cheap... Any sugestion where can I find a good deal?

P.S. I've tried to go to the gun auction sites, but after shipping, and the FFL fee all the savings are lost.

My husband got 2 deer today while deer hunting in Kansas. We want to process it ourselves, but with our work schedules, next weekend would be better for us. The highs each day are suppose to be in the range of 40-50 degree range lows in the 24-34 degree range. Will it keep that long before processing it & freezing it?

It looks very similar to a Browning with the raised barrell. It even has a Browning patent on it. The metal is blued it is in excellent shape(recently restored) The finish on the stock is also pretty good, but you can see that there are scratches in the wood below the finish. The co worker who wants to sell it said he had it redone and has not hardly ever used it. He also said it is the same as a Browning A-5.

It can be a revolver or a pistol cartridge but rimfire cartridges do not count. Centerfire only. Also, I am not interested in rifle or shotgun cartridges. Handgun only. Please only state one cartridge as I can only accept one answer for this poll I am taking.
Thanks.

I am buying bow making books for a christmas gift, and I would like to include a couple affordable tools with the book. It has been difficult to find out which tools to buy: a rasp, drawknife, c-clamps, etc---
If you know which tools are essential and where I can go to buy affordible (under 50$ for all of them) and quality tools that would be great!

It appears to wither be too wide or the rails do not fit inside of it. Does anyone have this gun and a holster that will fit..... Thank You!
