I am getting a .22 LR with a barrel for a 20 gauge shotgun and I am wondering whether or not I would be able to shoot a slug effectively out of it. Also, I would like to know if the afforementioned gun, a .22 LR with a 20 gauge barrel for $99 is a good deal? I think it is but I'm not a gun man...

I bought this gun at an auction. then went pick it up at a gun shop as the rules are. but didn't ask enough questions. I thought I could use the bullets from my .22 cal winchester rifle. .22 long. but when I take a closer look at the pistal. I'm not sure if it is ok . the gun has two cylenders. one is marked .22 mag the other is marked .22 long. but the bullets say MINI mag. this is a 6 shot revolver made in italy. I don't see a date or model number on it. I do see this. down one side of the barral is. MANUAL FREE FROM EAA CORP-HIALEAH-FLA THWE OTHER SIDES SAYS. MOD.EA-MADE IN ITALY is this the correct bullets for this gun. they seem to fit perfectly in eather cylender. I was told that the mag. bullet was a little larger diameter. but this package says "mini mags". ( I think I got them from Kmart) brand name. CCI .22 long rifle hollow point. any help?"?

Is doing such a thing utterly stupid? Or do people just make too big a deal out of it?

So I've got a S&W model 60-15 with an external hammer. and ever since someone mentioned to me that it would be a bad choice as a CCW I've been pondering it. Do I really need to purchase a "Hammerless" revolver if I want to carry a revolver as a CCW?

for pretty much a varmint rifle out to 700 yards, yes i kno thats pushing that round a lond ways but they even use them for 1000 yd. palma matches so i think it is doable but for rifle choices it is an ar15 with an e.r. shaw barrel 24" for around 650 from model1sales.com as a kit and ill buy a lower reciever seperat it is chambered in 5.56 and ill use the 62 grain penerators with it my other choice is a NEF varmint with a 24" varmint barrel fluted for about 300 ill use 68 grain bullets in this ill top either rifle with a quality bushnell 3200 elite 10x scope as u can tell budget is a big thing or else i would just go with a leapuld scope the ar15 is a 1:8 twist and the NEF is a 1:9 but those are the choices and thanx

After loading a magazine for the first time (slide is fully forward), pulling the slide back and releasing, my Glock 17 jams every time. If I insert the magazine with the slide locked back and release the slide stop lever, it works smoothly like a charm. This seems too simple to be user error (and, yes, I consulted the user's manual just to be sure) but is this possible? This is a very new handgun, probably fewer than 1,000 rounds through it to date. Thanks!
