I have 2 Hi-Point carbines, planet of the apes ugly.
I bought them because they're inexpensive and accurate, out of both carbines(9mm and 40sw) I have well over 8000 rounds total.Yes they're ugly, yes they're cheap and yes I will never buy,own or shoot a hipoint pistol, but their carbines are rock solid!

My first generation Glock Model 20 10mm. It is also my constant patrol companion so it has become beautiful to me. Why did I buy it? Because I didn't want to go down in power when I switched from a .357 Magnum and the .357 Sig had not yet been invented. The 10mm has as much power at a 100 yards as a .45 acp does at the muzzle. Additionally, the Glock Model 20 holds as many 10mm rounds as the average hi cap nine. So it just made sense.

Best.

I actually trotted off to the gun room for a quick look around. Tonight the prize goes to the Star model P-S. A nickel plated 1911 knock off. Though it doesn't have the hand fit of a 1911. It's fitted with grips carved from Moose antler. It is a tragedy in the firearms world.

Why did I buy it?
I looked in the case and "Jamie, that is one ugly gun,... I've got to have it." He responded that I usually go for stuff like that. I guess it's some kind of a character flaw.
Never fear. I've found the same gun in 9mm Largo, I'll have ugly in stereo then.

I actually inherited an old "sharps" rolling block that was taken from an indian. The indians didn't like the long barrel of rifles they stole, so, to make them easier to handle horseback, they would use a sharp edged rock to "file" the barrel off short. This one was filed at a crazy angle, and must shoot horribly, but I'll never know because the stock had been split, and the barrel cracked, so the indian had wrapped the barrel and stock with wire and apparently continued to fire it. It had brass tacks hammered into the stock and forearm and a has a crude drawing of a horse scratched into the stock as well.

I have a BSA Martini Mark 3 22 caliber Single shot rifle with the German style "Hooked" stock. It is a "tack driver" But without doubt it is the MOST BUTT UGLY gun I have ever seen, let alone owned. I have it stored away and it's so ugly I don't get it out much any more, let alone let any of my friends know I have it to begin with....lol

Funny you should ask. All of our babies are in mint condition but one. A old Marlin 60 .22 given to the wife by a friend who found it in a boat the bought. Lol salt water does a real number on things; it’s pitted bad all over except inside for some one greased the action and bore. The stock is broken and duck taped together, the aluminum receiver is corroded lol, oh it’s a real jewel!! And she wants me to restore it! Lol
But since I love my wife I am going to give it a shot. Quite a challenge, I think I will go with a fiber force stock, she likes those.

A .351 Winchester carbine. It was used by the Texas rangers between 1901-1910. It was given to me by my Grampa. Some people say it is ugly, I think she is beautiful. She still knocks down deer every year.

All the firearms I own so far are pretty cool looking but a few people do not agree...I own two Springfield Armory XDs. At least they look better than Glocks.

I will tell you though Glocks and Rugers both look like crap but will always shoot...
