they start about 785 but your going to pay almost 1000 cause of the things you need like ammo and the tax when i bought my ak it was 375 plus 30 dollars of tax and well some ammo is not cheap for the ar

An AR-15 is very easy to build and will cost you a lot less that way.I built my first one for about $500.00(us.) Look at gun shows for parts and you should be able to get most of them a little cheaper than buying them from shops. The only part that I farmed out was the headspacing(installing the barrel onto the upper receiver.) otherwise i was able to build the rest with very little outside guidance.The lower receiver is the only registered part and will be sold as a complete "assault" rifle.the rest of the parts can be purchased with any big wup-tee-doo.

You going to spend a little over a grand if you want one. Plenty of companies are making the Colt clones now, including S&W.

They start at $700 and up from where im at, Kentucky..... and thats a Bushmaster..... AR's are not that expensive..... look around you will find one in your price range.... go to enough gun shops, you will find one.
