Do you think it's good that giambi admitted his use of steroids?

Should he rat out other players and name drop?

Should other players follow suit?

My co-workers and I had been talking about Barry Bonds and got started about baseball records. One of my co-workers thought that the record for career home runs was 814, which obviously is wrong (755). For some reason though, the number 814 did stick out in my mind, as well as the minds of many of my other co-workers, as being a record for baseball. If anyone can explain why this number is important, or at least seems important, that would be great.

I'm kind of sick of seeing so many Mets and Yankees lead the voting. Yes, they are talented players, but other players belong up there. It should be based mainly by statistics, and 25% of the fan voting should be considered. There are a lot of deserving players out there that get ripped off.

You have to be kidding.
Here you have Bonds a guy that used steroids for a short term during his career. He has not and I repeat has not tested positive for steroids prior to using the cream. We all know that if he had used prior with the number of haters out there someone would have come forth by now.

Then you have Peter "The Gambler" Rose. A man who dishonored the great game he was so passionate about.
A man who "SWORE" and signed under "OATH" that he would never "BET" nor "GAMBLE" on this great game of ours and did it any way. I guess Pete was more loyal to money than the game. Yet you still have people out there that want a man like this to be forgiven and placed into the hall. You must be kidding! If a man isn't worth his word he isn't worth a damn.

Do me a favor and don't put Barry the jerk in the same sentence with a "BANNED" loser like Pete Rose.

When that's all they do too. The Yankees have many more players from their farm system on their roster. Proof:

Red Sox homegrown:
DelCarmen
Papelbon
Pedroia
Youkilis

3 Players

Yankees:
Henn
Pettitte
Proctor
Rivera
Wang
Posada
Cano
Jeter
Cabrera
Thompson
Hughes
Karstens

12 - 3, that enough proof 4 the jealous Red Sox fans.

Might I mention that this was most of the 2004 roster, so if u guys didn't buy the 2004 series, than the Yankees never even remotely came close 2 buying all 26.

What's Stienbrenner supposed 2 do with the money, give it away 2 tha Marlins or the Devil Rays. NO!! He spends it cause he wants 2 win, and he gets rewarded by selling out every game.

Remember baseball has become a buisiness, unfortunately

I know in most cases a closer or reliever only gets a save when he comes in with less than a 4 run lead. But I've seen it happen with a 4 run lead. How so? Thanks for the input.

Ok so I'm a huge Yankees fan living in GA. I'm going to the Boston-Atlanta game tonight and sitting in the first row behind the Red Sox dugout. Does anyone have any dirt on any of the Red Sox players. I wanna heckle them all game long, but not with the same stuff they hear on every other road trip. Any ideas?
