Has anyone in the majors ever made all three outs in the same inning at the plate?

It has yet to happen. It's a tough accomplishment because your team would have to be scoring a lot of runs and you'd have to go through the order at least three times.

Yep, Damon did that. The Red Sox exploded for 14 runs in the first, including 10 before making the first out. Damon doubled leading off, tripled (and scored the 10th run; that was a no-outs record), and singled to end the inning as Mueller was thrown out at home.

Damon later had two more hits but did not homer, missing the cycle.

Not a good night for the Marlins.

I am aware that someone did it once in the minor leagues, but I cannot recall the player.

The closest to that in the majors was Neifi Perez of the Rockies against St. Louis on April 2, 2001. Perez missed a bunt for the first out and grounded into a double play for the second and third outs. Technically he did not make all three outs himself, but I don't suppose that made him feel any better.

It is extremely rare to bat around three times in one inning. Only occasionally will the first batters get a second chance.

This hasn't happened and probably never will.
