Remember he has not been proven guilty for steriords which the main purpose for taking is to help you heal faster. Also there is no proof that pitchers were not doin the same, and many people have been found guilty of it, Mcgwire, Palmeiro, Grimsley, Mota, Giambi etc.... so don't be to quick to judge one of the greatest hitters ever

And should they sign him up for another year?

He now sits in 5th place all time with 600 Homeruns (60 behind Willie Mays). He is 38 years old and could realistically play next season before retiring, maybe another year past that if his body holds up, and he continues to produce. So, realistically, how many homeruns do you think Sammy Sosa will end up with when his career is done with?

Mets didn't play this bad since 2005. But they are still hanging in there leading NL East. If Mets find a way to get out of their stuggle, do you think Mets will win the division again?

Did anyone else notice how big of a popularity contest the votnig is? The Tigers, Red Sox, and Yankees all have at least 1 player in the top 5 in the AL. In the NL the Dodgers have a player in every position except one and he Mets have one at every position. I'm not saying that any of those players don't deserve to be there but something really should be done. What do you think?

Ok, 4 every one who answered about my do U think this is fair part1 when my coach went on vacation during the season, THANK U!!!!! But now its part2. Ok well the lady who says strike and all that (I forget what its called!), she dosen't like our team. The other day when the pitcher threw the ball, she counted it a strike, when the ball was a grounder and touched home plate!!!!!!!!!! I also over heard 1 of her conversations with the other coach saying how she thinks our tam is 2 perky?! Any suggestions?

The Cardinals just hit a walk-off-home-run to win the game aginst the Royals in the bottom of the 14th. Dave Borkowski gave up our lead today against the Angels. Chad Qualls got suspended for 3 games.(Chad lost the game for us there.) Our bullpen bites!!!

We are now 10 games out of 1st place because the brewers keep winning.

Do we need to trade our relievers? Will they start doing better? Will we get into some sort of hitting rythm?

What do you think?

Sammy Sosa hit his 600th Home Run today. This in itself states Sosa's claim for a HOF bid. However, an incident with a corked bat for the Cubs in 2003, and his appearance on a steroid panel with such questionable characters as Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmiero, and Jose Canseco have raised questions about the legitamicy of his HR totals. Furthermore, the Sosa who signed with the Cubs as a 19-year-old lanky shortstop has been muscled up, to the point of possible steroid use in his 20 years since then. The panel has been cruel to McGwire. How will Sosa fare under their watchful eyes?
