The question should be, "Will the Brewers have a better record than the Yankees at the end of the year". As far as the playoffs I would give both teams a 50-50 chance to make it.

Not really. Yes, the Brewers do have a weak division, but don't count them out because of that. They have a very talented team, and have just gotten back on track after a poor month of May. They have a Solid starting rotation and two of the best closers in the game. Prince Fielder is leading the league in HRs, and they have averaged double digits in hits over the last week. They also completely shut down Bonds this week. One hit in the entire series. That record was set in Milwaukee by a Brewer and we'll be damned if he does anything to tie or break it in Milwaukee.
And 26 Championships? ok, nice, but doesn't mean they don't suck this year. Deal with it.

I think its awesome for a small-market team like the Brewers to have a better record than a free-spending perennial winner like the Yankees. It would be so boring if the same teams continue to win all the time, the unexpected makes it worthwhile to be a fan.

This isn't crazy....THIS.. IS... BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!! Sorry but no one else did it so I had to.
But seriously, no one can figure this game out. On paper the Yankees should win every game. But there's always some scrappy team with great chemistry that wins more games, like the Tigers of '06 and the White Sox of '05. Sure they had talent but no one expected them to be so good. Now in '07 it's the Brewers turn to surprise everyone.

theoretically absolutely the yankee's should be winning every game with their ridiculous amount of money. no one in all of baseball has the same amount of money as them they can aquire almost any person in baseball at any time so they should have the best team. ex roger clemens if you calculate what the yankees are paying him every hour it is something like $8,000. this is just unfair to all other clubs but i do love watching them lose cause i hate the yankees.

The Brewers dont have teams like Boston and Toronto to deal with. Also, things happen, the Yanks cant rule the league forever. But they always have a chance, unlike the Brewcrew.
And you to previous haters, shut up. Jealousy is an ugly thing.
