White Sox vs Balitmore Orioles, or White Sox vs. Minnesota Twins
I don't really know baseball that well, but my father is visiting me and he wants to watch a match...I'd rather go see one that seems better to watch! :)

This Cub fan, wants to thank Sammy Sosa for everything he did for me. His 98 season made me a cub fan and maybe more importantly a fan of baseball. sammy should go to the hall of fame. McGwire retired and disapperaed....Palmeiro retired and dissappeared. Sammy worked and came back. It's awesome that I was watching live when he hit it. I seen homeruns 100 to about 550 so it's only natural he hit's it in front of all his old fans. Congrats Sammy and thank you.

I especially wanna hear from my fellow Cub fans, What are you guys thoughts on Sammy?

Here's what I have to say. On one of the last questions he answered, one of the other answerers accused him of having more than one profile. He denied it and said that he doesn't have more than one. Now I know that me asking this question means I take it a little too seriously but I would really wonder how much time this man spends on here. It seems like he has an answer to every question, and if it gets voted on, he has at least 4 or 5 votes no matter what his answer is...simple or descriptive. Several ppl won't understand wat I'm talkin bout, but I enjoy this Answers thing too and have been doing it in my free time the last 6months or so(this is a backup profile for me...every1 does have 1) I've just noticed that he seems to be pretty full of crap and I figure most of his "Best answers" are not legit.

Obviously not every1 could answer this ? but you loyal answers what do you think?

You are the umpire behind the plate.
Yankee stadium.
Derek Jeter is at bat and has a full count.
The next pitch appears to you to be just above his knees and catches the inside corner.
Jeter doesn't swing so you ring him up.
Furious, Jeter starts arguing with you about the called third strike.
What do you do?

a) Throw him out of the game for arguing balls and strikes. And then run like hell before the crowd throws you out of the game.

b) Confer with the other umpires to see if any of them saw the pitch any better.

c) Admit that you are wrong and award Jeter 1st base, because, he's Derek Jeter for crying out loud. If he didn't swing it has to be a ball and you must have made a bad call.

d) Other...You tell me.

The D-Rays are playing at home and a D-Ray batter hits a home run . The fans don't witness this because they were both at the hotdog stand buying snacks. Does the home run still count?

Why is it that fans will usually vote for a crap load of Red Sox and Yankee players even when those guys suck. There are much better players who deserve to be there and because people vote for the Red Sox/ Yankees players, some players can not get to the All-Star game. Why does MLB not have some sort of combination of fan vote/ player performance to choose the players. It seems like the fan vote is all that counts.

sunday night baseball and evening games broadcasted on ESPN always have either the boston red sox or the new york yankees. i think that is really BS for teams such as the devil rays, rockies, and royals.

the same can also be said about sportscenter. those big name teams have like 5 minute long highlights with in-depth analysis while other teams have like barely a minute.

it's gotten to the point where i really could care less about roger clemens or whatever the hell is up with curt schilling.
