I think of it this way. Even if hypothetically Bonds is using steroids, alot of the pitcher probably use it too. So he is still hitting a homerun because both sides are using steroids... hypothetically. So yes it should stay. Without an asterisk.

Yes, there have been numerous people around the game over its history that have been caught cheating and their records are still intact. Mr. Bonds hasn't been convicted of doing anything wrong (that doesn't mean he hasn't, it just means he hasn't been caught.). The saying goes that you are Innocent until convicted guilty, putting the burden of proof on everyone except Mr. Bonds. He simply must go about his business and when he passes Mr. Aaron, Bonds deserves the accolades that come with that accomplishment.

Unless we find out that Bonds did roids its going to stay there. But I will still view it as an un natural record just how I feel that 61 is still the single season record.

No, he is a disgrace to baseball and he is a racist...Hank Aaron doesn't even want to show up. Doesn't that show you something? This is not a historic moment in baseball because he would've had at least 100 hrs less than what he has. He should still be a HOF because of his Hr's and SB's

but that still doesn't make it right for him to cheat on the game like Sosa, Palmiero, Canseco, McGwire etc.

I say no because he is proven to have takin roids. Now without his roids he is doin sooooo bad. He strikes out almost every game. His battin avg. is 285. I mean look he was fast back in the day but he taken roids and he is all off his game. Hank got his fair and square and u all know it.
I SAY NO!!!!!

With an asterick, yes. In my judgement the sad thing about Bonds is that he didn't need the steroids. He's a great player, no doubt.

no, its an unwriten rule that a homerun without roids and a homerun with roids are counted separately, so all-tim, barry bonds is 178th in all time HR's w/out roids, and 1st w/ steroids

of course, he has yet to be proven guilty and has passed all the drug tests mlb threw at him. i hate how everyone zeros in on bonds when at least half of all mlbers take steroids.

This is such a tired question. If I want to hear someone talk about this I'll just watch, I don't know, everything on ESPN.
