I thought it was okay. Not one of his best but because it was a milestone event (600), I say congrats to Sammy. It's not like he's a jerk-off like a couple others.

Don't hate on Slamming Sammy. 600 is 600. There are others who have and maybe still using the drugs that did not get any where near these numbers. Sammy is still good for baseball. He is still a good guy in my eye. Sammy in should get in the Hall of Fame. Same as Pete Rose. He was not the only one who gambled, he just got caught and like most men when you get caught you deny, deny, and did I say Deny......lol

Yes, I saw it. I was actually watching the Braves game when it popped up, then I watched him hit it. I'm glad he did it vs his old team, and his teammate caught the ball so Sosa will get the ball to keep for himself if he wants.

Now there is 2 steroid users that are in the the 600 HR club. Bonds and Sosa, but I like Sosa more becuz he isn't as bad as Bonds is.

My probalem with Barry Bonds is not entirely the fact that he used steroids... Je is an arrogant, self centered prima donna who cares more about Barry Bonds than he does about his team... He has always excluded himself from team activities and is known for not talking to teammates and reporters...He is an ***...

Yeah, sammy juiced too, but he was a team player, a flashy, super talented slugger who had an infectious personality... i loved watching sammy and mcgwire go at... juice vs. juice...it single handedly saved baseball...

that being said, this is a monumental achievement for a great ballplayer and person.. did you know that sammy donates millions and millions of dollars per year to help disadvantaged youth in his homeland...???

good job slammin sammy....

Sammy most likely did take something. But then again almost ALL pro athletes do. Bottom line is he has 600 knocks and not many people do, drugs or not.

He belongs in the HOF. So does Mark Mc!

I was there at the game. You should have seen those shameless men fighting to get in the front of the little kids hoping to catch the ball. I'm glad it was hit into the Rangers bullpen!

It's amazing the spike in his numbers during the "steroid years" in baseball isn't it? Most of these people here who are getting low ratings on their answers are saying the same thing I have said since his first HR explosion, he's dirty and fake. I do not like Sosa, he made a joke of the congress meeting on steroids, disappeared from baseball while everything was hot and now resurfaces and no one questions him. I hope someone hits him in the ear hole one more time and renders him even more retarded than he already acts.
