Has there ever been a major league pitcher that could pitch with both arms and is there a rule about whether a pitcher can pitch from one set arm in a game or not?

This just hit me tonight. Let's say Manny retires a Red Sox player and gets his ten years in Beantown. After gaining entrance to the Hall of Fame, the Sox retire his #24 in a glorious ceremony...

My problem is this...what about Dwight Evans? Dwight is a Red Sox HOFer who also wore #24 and won about 9 gold gloves and put up some of the biggest numbers is Sox history. Plus, the #24 will hang over the right field corner, where Dwight was at his finest....

Do you see #24 as legendary Dwight Evans, or as Manny Ramirez...

I foresee a showdown...

Just wondering of all the MLB parks, which are hitters parks and which are pitchers parks. A ranking of the best hitters and pitchers parks would be great. thanks.

I dont understand why so many managers don't bunt the man over to third base in that situation, or ask for the batter to hit the ball to the right side of infield to advance the runner to third base. I think scoring the first run of the game is very important, and the runner could score from third on a wild pitch or a pass ball too.

Now I was reading an article about his herniated disc and decided to look at his stats this season. Low and behold I see this "15-day DL as of Jun 15, 2007 (Tightness in glute)"

Then I checked News & Notes and got this: "Johnson was placed on the DL on Friday because of muscle tightness in his buttocks."

So is it really that tough to pitch with a ss tightness? This is the first time I have ever seen a guy go on the DL for this type of thing. If you have pitched before let me know something because I really want to know if this is just one of those made up things to put a guy on the DL to get some rest.
