Left Side
It does not matter if you are right handed or left handed. You slide on the left slide so you can see the next base not the outfield.

It should go on the leg that hits the ground when you slide. This will be the leg you make the figure "4" with. If you are right handed, it will be the right leg.

You never know what's gonna happen in a slide. It may be wise to protect BOTH legs!

It just depends on how you slide. I wear it on my right leg. It could be either leg, just try sliding on grass or a special sliding mat to see which position is more comfortable for you. the pad just needs to cover the part of you leg that slides on the ground. Also, sliding shorts might be good too, if your butt touches when you slide. I've seen some nasty strawberries on girls' hips.

It is a personal decision. If you were to slide into a base under normal circumstances, which side would you slide on?
That is where the sliding pad goes.

Usually based off if your left or right handed. Most right handed people slide on left leg and most left handed people slide on right leg.

I have never used them myself. But looking, I would say my right leg, that's the one with all the raspberries on it, plus I don't think I've ever seen anyone slide on their left leg.
