I mean they go out and buy there talent with their 200+ million dollar payroll. I cant be jealous of of 26 titles won by money not talent

Because yankee fans are good for nothing egotistical bastards who think because the yankee fans think that somehow because the are yankee fas that they were somehow responceable for all 26 rings and that is wrong they have no power they should not root for the 1922 yankees but the 2007 yankees because it is 2007

Okay, and U guys didn't "buy" 2004. U guys didn't even have a player from ur farm system. U guys don't have much a future either. Ur best player doesn't play the field, and is fat and out of shape, and the injury parade will start in 2 years. Manny is old, Varitek is old. U guys have maybe 2 homegrown players on ur roster, so Idk what ue talking about.
If u want 2 hate on the Yankees, go right ahead. More fuel 4 when we beat u in the playoffs, but don't do it 4 the wrong reasons. Hate us cause we've dominated u every year up 2 2004, and the last 2 years. Hate us cause we have 26 ships, something ur team will probably never do until the apocalypse.
U guys shouldn't be talking about money, when u barely can scrounge 2 or 3 players from ur farm system.
Good luck trying 2 match history with history, cause the Yankees will always come out on top.

ummmm. the Sox do have the SECOND highest payroll in baseball. Every team "buys" championships. What makes the Yankees different is that they don't buy just one. They buy players to win a series of championships. The true mark of a great tem is not just to win a championship, but to be able to defend it. Look at the Yankees 26 titles. They've all come in clusters...3 in a row, 4 out of 5, etc. Though I congratulate the Sox for a remarkable comeback, reversing the curse and all that in 2004, the fact of the matter is.....it was just one in the last 90 years.

Is this ever a flawed question! lol Look at the sox payroll and the lack of homegrown talent on their roster. Lets see they aquired Ortiz, lugo, lowell, drew, crisp, ramirez, dicek, beckett, pena, etc.......they have two position players they actually developed, pedroia and varitek. Every year the sox creep closer and closer to becoming the "Evil Empire" they rail against so loudly. Don't bring in the srgument about buying talent- especially with the sox roster as it is. As for the 26 titles...well if your team had them you'd brag too. lok how nuts boston fans went over just 1 in 90+ plus years. Your argument fails on common sense alone. Sounds like sour grapes, go cry in your chowda'

I am a Red Sox fan and I too will agree with the comment that we do have the second highest payroll in baseball. The reason that I hate the Yankees is also because of their attitude and expectation year in and year out that they will win the World Series. Their fans are spoiled into believing this too! This year we are beating the Yankees 7 to 5 with 6 more games to go. The 5 times that they HAVE won this year I have recieved at least one email from a friend or a relative who is a Yankees fan saying something like, "How bout the Champs?" or "Here we go we're on a roll and we might take the AL East soon!" Bring it on! The baseball season is so much sweeter when there is a rivalry being played out in front of us all! So to Hate the Evil Empire makes our American past time so much more enjoyable come October!
GO SOX! And good luck to all of the other teams this season. The playoffs should be interesting and entertaining for us all!
One last note....
The Yankees DO have talent. Let's not be so dumb to not acknowledge that...

What ? You don't know what you are talking about .
First of all nobody and I mean nobody wins 26 World Series titles without talent .
Of the 102 World Series played the Yankees have played in 38 of them and have a record of 26 -12 and that requires talent.
Prior to the era of free -agency the beloved Yankees played in 26 World Series and had a record of 20-6. *
Those numbers aren't about money they're about talent and team chemistry.
I'm using 1975 as the line of demarcation for this discussion.
After 1975 the Yankees played in 10 World Series and had a record of 6-4
So a little number massaging tells us that the NYY won 77% of the WS they played in prior to free agency and 60% of the WS the played in post pre-agency.
Conclussion :
Talent and team chemistry wins WS*

You know, I hate the yankees too. But what I dislike even more is when people use the yankees payroll as an excuse to hate them. Way back in the day when payrolls weren't much of a consideration (before Donald Fehr got too big for his britches), the yankees were good as were the red sox.
If you are going to hate the yankees, hate for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.
Heck, if the owner of The Tigers had GeorgieBoys' kind of money I would want him to spend it (wisely) on players too.
I hate the yankees because of their attitude. They automatically think every year that they should handed the world series to them on a silver platter. Guess what? it doesnt work like that. You actually have to play the game to
EARN THE RIGHT TO BE IN THE POST SEASON!

Lets be rational here folks... The highest paid baseball team for reason , That money isn't just bottles we find on the street , its not something we just steal from a cracker jack box.. that money is earned .. holding a stadium with over 55.000 seats at a 100.00 average spending per fan per game , how much is that everygame? its nearly sold out might i add.. moving along .. .attitude? you kidding me .. lets roll back the pages a little .. When boston won in 2004 .. How crazy did things become , riots .. there were actually a few deaths upon celebration , over doing it .. RIGHT IN FRONT OF FENWAY.. things went nuts .. people were harmed not to mention how much damage was done.. to several Ny Fans... True fact.. look it up... When Yanks win , does that stuff occur .. Not even close , we celebrate with just a parade and smiles... attitude comes from watchn a game live on tv and you see TWO Redsox fans slapping pizza in each others face .. again that was BOTH redsox fans slappin each other in the face with a slice of pizza over a Foul Ball .. You dont see that stuff in NY.. there is no jealousy... Redsox are a great team , You wont ever hear me say otherwise .. but then again .. Im a baseball fan NOT JUST a New York Yankee fan... if you're a true Baseball fan .. yankees suck wont ever spew from you're lips... something to think about.. Being competitive is fun.. enjoyin the rush of a game between redsox and yankees is fun.. hatn because of stupidity and using money as a clutch , means you're just plain clueless... something to think about .. well we dont think WE KNOW and well all the ws rings were won over 104 year history okay they -play ever game all 162 and plus the playoffs to win okay they just to get the trophy and thats it no they play when they win it they deserved it b/c they were the best team that year okay if your jealous or not i dont care

that's a slight reason why i hate the yankees...the biggest/main reason why i hate the yankees is because they come off as snobby rich people...and their fans are snobby...arrogant and rich....(more than the avg boston fan)....
plus i think that most yankee fans are bandwagon fans...and are simply supporting the yankees because they have won the most championships....let's face it....why do you think there are more yankee fans than giants fans....islanders fans...knicks fans....you don't see anybody really supporting any other NY team.....the yankees (besides the sabres) are the only decent team from ny and it seems they have the most fans because fans want to be fans of a winning ballclub...nobody wants to be a royals fan....so that's why i dislike yankee fans....
i've been a sox fan ever since i've really watched baseball...we may not win a world series often...but when we do it's sweeter....
i'm not going to ***** about payroll...although it does make a difference....i mean w/ your payroll you should be having a much better record...it's simply that some players are grossly overpaid compared to others...and that helps balance the system (look at the entire angels franchise vs. a-rod and clemens) who alone get paid more than 5-6 separate franchises...combined it's about 8-9 teams....
another reason why i hate the yankees is because of a-rod....look at his antics...the slapping the ball out of arroyo's hand...the shoving pedroia after his slide into 2nd was over....i don't give a f*** about his yelling at toronto 3rd baseman to get him to drop the ball...but it's still scummy...a-rod is a scumbag...a good player but a waste of talent and lack of character...giambi does steroids.....
the yankee fans are the biggest reason why i hate the yankees...i've already mentioned parts of this...but i hate how the yankee fans are cocky and think we are jealous of their titles...if we are jealous of their titles...then we'd be yankee fans...like the other unloyal yankee fans who will soon be mets/redsox fans...or fans of whatever team wins the world series....on top of that....the yankees won a majority of their titles in the early going...the 20's..30's...40's...50's...70's...etc....they've won no title since 2001...and mixed titles in the 90's....so saying the yankees are the best baseball team is like saying the celtics are the best team because of all of their wins in the 60's and 70's....it's pathetic...
i just really hate the yankees...i hope i never see a yankee championship in my lifetime...(another one)...GO RED SOX!!!
and by the way...i think in our history we've won about 9 titles....just most of them were in the beginning (including the first ever world series!!!) we just hadn't won any recently until 2004
