Please write your favorite MLB team and why. im just wondering cause i love the YANKEES!!! i know you hate them because they're good. Don't be jealous of them.

The Yankees are my favorite MLB team. I love the city of New York. I love how everyone is so jealous of them. I love the players and the stadium. I love the history of the team and I love everything about them. I love the Yankees!! I have liked them my entire life and i always will be a Yankee fan. GO YANKEES!!! =)

My team is the Dodgers because I go back to the Koufax and Drysdale era and I have been with them through thick and thin, I would never change. However, I can never understand why so many people put such a huge effort, and passion, in hating another team, it makes no sense to me. To each their own but I believe you should have respect for your competition and give them all the credit they deserve when they do well. Your Yankees have defeated my Dodgers in the world series seven times in the past and just because my team lost doesn't tarnish my feelings about all those great Yankee teams and the great memories I have today involving the many great games between the Dodgers and the Yankees. Baseball is such a great game and I don't believe there should be any room for the word "hate" when talking about the game.

Well, first of all, the Yankees are not even close to first in the east, so I am not jealous. The one who should be jealous is you. The A.L. Central is taking over the American League. Saying that, my team is the Detroit Tigers. They play as a team, they have fun, they have a heart for the game, they help in the community, and I am from Michigan.

BoSox... best team in the majors right now. The starting rotation is unbelievable. Beckett, if he keops pitching this well, will be AL Cy Young. Then we have Schill, Wake, Dice-K, and Tavarez (4-0 in since may 10th). And our bullpen is easily one of the best in the league. Closer Jonathan Papelbon is set up by Okie Dokie.. unreal. Our offense is incredible. Ya Lugo and Drew aren't earning their pay, but Lowell came out of the gate on fire and Youk had that hitting streak going. Pedrioa has been swinging the bat well, and we all know Papi and Manny will hit July and start going deep more. They won 11-0 last night and I believe they had 5 HRs in Atlanta (a warmer area). Wait til Boston gets the heat, we'll be seeing back-to-back jacks like once a week. There's no way the Sox don't take this years World Series if they keep playing the way they are.

I like the Houston Astros, because I grew up with them, so it's tradition. No offense, but the only reason the Yankees have been so good in the past is b/c they have the highest salary cap in the MLB.

Indians because of my mom. Indians were playing the Yankees when I was 5 and me, being from NY wanted to route for the Yankees. My Mom, being a Red Sox fan, successfully talked me out of it and I became an Indians fan.

My favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals. This team may have its ups and downs, but it always makes the game interesting to watch. When you have guys like Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, Chris Carpenter, Jim Edmonds and Yadier Molina as your everyday starters, you know its gonna get good. Plus, the Cardinals have a slew of young talent, both in hitting and pitching, that will make this team a contender for years.

My favorite team is the Mets because they have good players like David Wright, Carlos Beltran, Jose Reyes, and Paul Lo Duca. I like when the Mets face Yankees because it's biggest rivary in New York. Because I like the Mets, I don't like Yankees. If I lived in New York, I would've like both teams but I still would've choose the Mets when they are facing the Yankees.

i'm a big red sox fan....and for the record i don't hate the yankees because "they're good"...and i'm definitely not jealous of them.....there are many better reasons to hate the yankees....
anyway living my entire life in CT...a third party bos/nyy state...i've had influences from both teams..my dad's side of the family are yanks fans (although nobody else in my immediate family likes sports) and my mom's family grew up in MA.....but after watching games.....i kept getting sick of the yankees.....
the turn for me happened about when i was 10-11....about when i started being a baseball fan...and ever since (i'm now 19)...i'm a huge red sox fan....i think they are more respectable than the yanks (in particular a-rod)...and in all fairness....i hate the yankee fans more than the yankees.....and that's because many are fans just because they have the most titles...although most of them were before the yankee fans were born....
anyway i respect a lot of the yankees....like jeter...torre....but i can't stand a-rod....we'll see how the division ends this season....
