He's definitely a rfB! MLB just needs to make a proclamation that "many players have used steroids in the past and we need to just move on and correct the problem," instead of trying to conduct a witch hunt and name players. Are they trying to get Giambi to give them some kind of evidence on Barry Bonds' use of steroids, so they can nail him before he breaks Hank Aaron's record? Who knows? But if they really want to expose all the players that used in the past, get ready for a blood bath!

I think Giambi sincerely feels remorse about his steroid usage and the negative effect that steroids has had on the game that he apparently loves.
I think that he is asking for our forgiveness for his past misdeeds and I think that we should give it to him.
If Selig was a smart as he thinks he is, he would make Giambi an offer he can't refuse ; Immunity from prosecution in return for big names.
Legally stopping Bonds before he breaks Aaron's honestly begotten record , would bring so much joy to so many of us.

Definitely RFB. I think he knows his career is winding down and he wants to be noticed before he is gone. He will be remembered as the stupid RFB and as long as his name is remembered,he doesn't care what for.
I agree that baseball should just get on with it and instead of wasting money trying to figure out who did what, when and where, just agree that it was pretty widespread and move on. Although it is hard when looking at records being broken to not cringe and feel as though it is just not right that it counts..I don't think there is really an answer to how to deal with past transgressions without solid proof and I dont see there being any solid proof.

Neither. He is hopefully someone who sincerely feels badly about the whole steroid thing. The scandal over steroids has totally ruined the integrity of the game. It is going to take someone who breaks the code of silence to come out and tell us and Congress the way it really was.
Only when that happens, the game of baseball can begin to restore the credibility it has lost.
