If the Yankees make a massive run and make the playoffs at the end of the year and make it to the ALCS or World Series, then Roger Clemens will no matter what retire. He is getting too old and the reason why he came to New York was to make the playoffs.

If the Yankees miss the playoffs, there is a little chance that he comes back. His groin and back keep bothering him and he can't pitch 7 or 8 innings any more.

So basically, there is very little chance he comes back next year...to any team. But if Roger Clemens does come back, he will be a Yankee.

Who knows? If he did come back, it would only be for half the season. And It'd be nice to have him back with the Yankees. However if the Yankees were to win the world series this year, I have a feeling that Clemens would retire for good. We'll just have to wait and see, only time will tell.

I don't think that he will come back nest year because he will be 45 years old. I also think that he is a great pitcher, but he already has 1 win and 1 loss. He is a very hard person to predict and so are the yankees. if he does come back, hopefully he will be with the Yankees. I hate the Red Sox!!! Go Yankees!!! Derek Jeter is HOT!!!

who knows...he might be another part time player with his season starting in June, instead of early Feb with wokout session etc...and get ridiculous amount of money...that might be the newest trend for especially the pitchers who are 45 and older...their season starts from June to late September....depending if the team makes the playoffs etc...
he can probably pitch another year or so..
