Interleague play in a national league stadium means the AL pitcher does hit. Santana hit a double. He also came around and scored.

There is no DH in Interleague play thus the pitcher from both leagues hit. Santana was a good hitter as a younster and it shows....

Johan Santana had a double in his game yesterday. Yep, it's safe to say that he hit the ball.
