Even if they got rid of some young talent to get some complementry vetrans, why can't they ever be competitve? Even outside of the AL East, they could and should be somewhat respectible.

ERA calculation is:
Earned runs allowed, multiplied by 9, divided by innings pitched (ie. .333, .666, 1) However, if a pitcher has not recorded an out all season, how would his/her ERA be calculated?

I would like to buy a professional sized bat, like the kind a real homerun hitter uses. What kind of bat (brand and length and weight) does Barry Bonds or Mark McGuire use and where can I get one?

-Thanks

Will Georgie Porgie be jealous when this happens or will he be the priest who seals the deal?

I think championships are way overrated, and I can't stand when someone mention championships when it comes to comparing players. Because every player doesn't get the same opportunity to play along side other good players. I think we as fans get to caught up on winning teams and forget about someones talent has an individual. Since someone have more titles doesn't mean they're better then the other guy. It just means the that guy with the titles was fortunate enough to play on a championship franchise(right place & right time).
Example:
Horry's 6 rings to Bird's 3, who's better?(Bird)
Sally's 4 or 5 ring's to Ewing's 0, who's better?(Ewing)
Kobe's 3 rings to Wade's 1, who's better?(Wade)
Russell's 11 ring to MJ's 6, who's bettter?(MJ)
H. Grant's 4 or 5 rings to Barkey's 0, who's better(Sir)
Haslem's 1 ring to Malone's 0, who's better?(Malone)
Pippen's 6 rings to Dr J's 1, who's better?(Dr.J)
Longley's 3 rings to Hakeem's 2, who's better?(Hakeem)

See my point!

OVERRATED!

I have two Cardinals Legends Club seats indoors for the April 4th Cards/Mets game . There is an all you-can eat buffet included with free beer. I am wondering if I can drink all the beer I want to or if they have rules against that.

Should gay baseball players be allowed to play in the MLB. Why or why not? I am intereseted to hear Georgie Porgie's answer because he is gay man which may have a biased answer. Respectful answers only please.

Judging from the Yankees' record 3-0, the top current team in the AL, and the Red Sox' record 0-3, I am a big believer of first impressions even though this is only Spring Training, so I say the Yankees will do awesome this year and the Red Sox will suck. Who cares if they have Dice-K? They cannot win every single day with him, he'll be tired. So, I think that the Yankees will in fact go to the World Series AL side this year. 27 in '07, You gotta believe. ;-)

Before you answer remember a few things. First, there wouldn't be a NFL if you kicked out everyone on steroids. Which it hasn't been proven that he did, and probably never will. Second, you are a liar if you say you can find someone with better numbers.

The Yankees went backwards this winter yet moved up in the odds to win the World Series.
Havent these odds makers seen the pattern developing when it comes to the Yankees and the playoffs?
