Dice-K Me being a Boston fan should know. Everyone arounf herre calls him Dice-K plus his actual first name is Daiskue (pernounced Dice-k) so the name will stick. And hes gonna be nasty go sox

He wants D-Mat but I think its pretty much Dice-K at this point.

The reason its Dice-K is that it his Japanese name, Daisuke, is pronounced that way.

Its not really a nickname, more like a way to avoid messing up spelling his name a few times.

For a while, probably both. Either way, people will know who it is. Dice-K is more common and I think will win out.

He hasn't won a game in MLB yet,that gyroball was a publicity thing and you are wondering what his nickname is going to be?Until he has a few years of winning 20 games and has a Cy Young award,does he really need one?
