I was thinking we could change the rules and have the pitcher pitch nonstop and the batter could step in and hit. Then immediately, another batter would step up and hit because the pitcher never stops pitching. You could have something like a 20 minute halftime, then start up the action again.

I'm a huge Rockies fan and I'm so excited to see these guys play! I see Holiday around .330-35-40 HRS, 130 RBIs, and Adkins around the same. With a (finally) healthy Helton between them or in front and Hawpe (.300-25HRs-90 RBIs) behind them, that is a scary middle of the line up!

The scary part is that Holiday hired Boras and he probably will be out of here next year!

In particular elbow problems. It seems that lefties are more apt to have elbow and serious arm problems from pitching than righties. Is there any explanation for this?

Since this is Ichiro's contract year, I've heard rumos that he will be traded if Seattle is losing this year since he doesn't want to play for a losing team. Who would be interested in getting Ichiro?

This includes the yanks igawa, bow sox's dice-k, and devil rays iwamura. They then replace the real name with a fake name that has the same first letter for the last and first name like for Daisuke Matasuke its Dennis Miller. Why didn't they put the real names?

Joe Mauer: First catcher ever in the AL to win a batting title.

Justin Morneau: Winning MVP (Who would have thought of that!)

Now, they have to prove that they can repeat and not fall into the hands of other players (Mainly Jeter) and prove to people it wasn't a one year wonder.

How do you think they will do??

Because I for one am worried about Joe's habit in hitting into too many double plays, and the way Justin lacked his HR's in the playoffs.

Jimmy Rollins says the Phils are the team to beat in the NL East and all their fans are talking like they've won the last 5 World Series. Only problem, it's what you do and not what you say. Everytime in recent years there have been high expectations for the Phils, there have been lesser results. The Mets easily won the NL East last year and still have a great lineup. In my opinion to suggest that anyone other than the Mets are the favorite in the NL East is ludicrous? What do you think?
