Hey chels!
thanks for the website, it helped a lot
yea you should be able to play baseball!
softball is for sissy's that are afraid of being hit by a ball and are too scared to play baseball.
You are my hero for playing baseball on a guy's team. You are also better than over half the team.
Girls can do anything boys can.
You go show them chiz baby!

Anyone capable of competing should be able to play. But here is the problem; Little League allows anyone who signs up to play regardless of skill. Although I know there are girls who are much better than some of the boys who play, they are more the exception than the rule. Which means there is a higher number of boys with skills. If you allow 1 girl to play you have to allow all to play, since boys are allowed to play without penalty of getting cut if they are not good enough you wouldn't expect girls to have to "try out" with the risk of not making a team or getting cut. So what happens if every girl who is not as athletic decides to play? The league must allow her and as numbers grow you end up with a less competitive co-ed league.
Would I take a girl on a team? Yes, if she is good enough. But it would have to be in a league where ALL players try out and can get cut or not make the team. And I think that could be high school, college, minors, majors - anywhere. A coach's job is to field the best team they can and if that includes a girl - so what.

Women are clearly not the helpless ornaments some like to imagine them like they were in the Dark ages. It may be statistically more difficult for a woman to compete against a man in professional baseball, but where there is a will there is a way, and sports history has shown many times how a person can valiantly turn what some see as a disadvantage into great strength. I think it would be friggen awesome to see.
There is no better form of respect to give or receive than the 'eye to eye' kind from an equal. The kind that can only be earned. I have to say that the sexists are truly missing out.

Of course girls should be able to play baseball, especially in the younger ages when physical strength is more even between girls and boys.
At about age 13 or 14, most boys shoot right past most girls in strength, that is when careful consideration should be given for girls to compete on the same fields with the boys.
Good luck this year, I hope you enjoy the season!

properly, in summer season league, there is in many situations a softball team that the ladies who play baseball connect around 10 or so, yet that does no longer mean a woman has to stop baseball and connect softball, yet that's while maximum women do. And in intense college, there is in many situations a baseball and softball team, that's boys in simple terms and ladies in simple terms.

Yeah they should and are allowed to play. But I dont see why they want to. Most girls play softball, so unless all there friends were boys, they wouldnt have a lot of friends on the team.

Yes, and they should play with other girls, or respect the rules enforced by the boys league. This is in reference to all safety rules too.
