This includes the yanks igawa, bow sox's dice-k, and devil rays iwamura. They then replace the real name with a fake name that has the same first letter for the last and first name like for Daisuke Matasuke its Dennis Miller. Why didn't they put the real names?

If you have the the online option and you can download the current rosters, they usually start to develop the game about 1 year before its release, so those player might not be on there. When they sign contracts with a MLB team they are put in the MLBA so those rights pass on, it is also a good thing to update the rosters online because of all the off season changes, if you dont have a online feature then you have to do it by hand, I dont know about getting the right stats and look for the player but they will come out as generic face and stats.

I believe reason why they don't do that is cause they don't have a license to make names of players who r not officially pro baseball players yet, just like EA Sports made too many names that they didn't have a license for which is why they can't make any more MLB games for like 10 years is what I hear, which is stupid as hell, but true

what are you talking about yes they are when you get signed into the MLB your name is put into the Player's Association list. if that was true what that person said then you could say the same thing about Iguchi and Matsui, but their names were in the MLB 2K6 and all the other major league baseball games so explain that also goes for Ichiro Suzuki and Takashi Saito

they are not in the player's association. Barry Bond's name isn't in any game. Also, in all basketball games, when Michael Jordan played, he didn't have a roster spot. These Japanese players obviously didn't sign in time to be in the association.

I believe, but im not positive, its because they are not part of the players assosiation. Therefore they can not have their names in a game endorsed by it.
