There are many people in the MLB that can still bring some pretty serious heat but the man bringing the fastest speed right now is Joel Zumaya. He has been none to throw a fastball clocking in at 103 mph-101mph. If you want to watch him this year he will be playing for the Detroit Tigers. Hes a pretty intresting player to view.

Joel Zumaya...last year MLB recorded 233 of his pitches that topped 100mph. The rest of the major league pitchers combined to throw 102 pitches of 100mph. That pretty much speaks for itself.
Major league scouts ranked Justin Verlanders 98mph fastball as the most difficult to hit because of arm motion and movement.

I confronted some puzzling throwing teenagers in intense college - do no longer undergo in strategies each and all of the main substantial factors such as you do, yet i could wager we had teenagers throwing over ninety, and perchance even slightly larger. One call is composed of strategies as throwing somewhat puzzling - Dave Otto, who later performed interior the majors, yet i in my view could no longer say precisely how puzzling he threw at that age. And he replaced into no longer the toughest thrower I observed at that time. however the quickest pitcher I ever confronted replaced into no longer a baseball pitcher. I had the excitement of dealing with Eddie Feigner and his team The King and His court docket back interior the early 1980's. Eddie replaced into in his early Nineteen Sixties and replaced into nonetheless throwing a SOFTBALL virtually a hundred mph. very frightening coming from approximately 40 six feet, and somewhat plenty impossible to do something extra advantageous than carry the bat out and desire you hit it. I hit one pitch, grounding out to first base, and it replaced into no longer something yet sheer dumb luck, It replaced into the only ball my team put in play all evening. Eddie pitched a no-hitter with in simple terms one walk.
