If she is talented enough, then yes.
But I do not see a woman playing in the mlb
for a while.

Yes there will be. It will most likely be a publicity stunt to draw attention to a below average team to try and draw a crowd for a failing franchise. There are many good female ball players but the Major Leagues has too much competition. They have all ready inserted a little person (midget) into a game to get a walk to score a run why not a chick?

99.9% chance no. Women's bodies are just not made for a sport that requires the amount of strength that professional baseball requires. Not only that, but women don't really play baseball, most play softball.
There will be women umpires though, which I think is great for the game. I played with a woman umpire last season in the Southern League that was very good and I expect her to make it to the big leagues one day as an umpire.

There was a woman named Ila Borders that pitched in and won a game sometime around 97 i think, she played for the Duluth - Superior Dukes of the Northern League. I think she is still playing in like wisconson or something. So pro ball yes, the majors, no i dont think so.

Well, according to the rules, the answer is no.
However I highly disagree with this. I pray someday there will be woman able to play in MLB, but as of right now, the rules prohibit women from joining.

Yes, not all females play softball. I play baseball and it has been growing very fast. Hopefully females can have their own professional league. Have you heard or seen any of the Women's World Cup of Baseball? It is very good baseball

They are plenty of women in MLB.
Most of them help perform the day to day operations
of the club they work for, many are very talented and perform thier functions well.
However, a female major league player will not happen in my lifetime, or my kids lifetimes, or thier kids lifetime.

Of the major pro leagues, the NFL is the only one which doesn't bar women.
Besides,I think it's likely you would see a female place kicker in the NFL a lot sooner than you would a woman playing first base in MLB.
Mainly because there are already girls kicking on the college level.
