Auto Racing - June 2007

Is anyone else excited about the road race in Aug.? I am a particular fan of road courses in NASCAR and I would like to see a few more on the schedule. What do you think about road courses?

smaller cars mean the cars are lighter.... may be an advantage...
and I mean the driver is short that he can't reach a normal F1 car's gas or brake pedal...

I would like to hear from the Kyle Busch fans! Don't answer this if you aren't a Busch fan no one needs your opinion. But I'm sure you won't be able to help yourself. So Busch fans, why is he leaving if he is? Is there anything on his site that claims this is true? If he goes to Ginn, is he the 01 driver and the new Army guy? What do you think?

If junior goes to hendrixs do you think he will lose alot of fan base. I know that Gordon and Johnson are in the top of least favorite drivers.. you can tell by then getting booed at the races. I have to say if he goes to hendrix i will be rooting for the #20 car tony stewart.. and i am a BIG JR. Fan!

Whoooa. I just woke up from a dream that Jr signed with HMS, Gibbs might race Toyotas, M Waltrip quit racing with T Labonte driving the 55 Toyota, Kyle to race for DEI, Mary D likes Chevy, and David B is back. Man, I need to lay off the #24 energy drinks.

Not because of what he did,but because of how people trashed him.I know he's the bad boy of racing and likes it!But if everyone had the will to win that he does NASCAR would really be something.He races like Pete Rose played baseball and Larry Bird played basketball,with confidence and doesn.t kiss rears that's what some drivers need.This is my thoughts on the situation.Anybody agree?

I love how everyone says that Dale Earnhardt Sr is "spinning" in his grave about Dale Jr. joining Hendrick.....first of all I Believe that Sr would respect his son's decision and would be happy for him.

I do not know where everyone body gets their information from in regards to Sr and Gordon having this all consuming rivalry. This is nothing more than Dale Sr's "fans" and Gordons "fans" having nothing better to do than create drama for themselves. I think it is disrespectful to nascar as a whole for the way that their "fans" carry on.

Comparing one driver to another driver to say the least is absoultely the stupidest thing that can ever be done. To say that a race car drivers son isnt exactly like how his father was makes him less of a driver? Hello people reality check time here, sons are not clones of their fathers and therefore will not be exactly like their fathers.

What if Jr left DEI and went to HMS..........?
Would you Jeff Gordon and Hendrick fans be mad? Lets face it, y'all say that he cant drive, but owners are foaming at the mouth at the chance that he may not re-sign. Would y'all still say that he cant driver now that he's your favorite drivers team mate. Jeff himself has said that he would like to have him as a team mate, which means one thing, the guy can drive.

Scenrio, Hendrick drops Casey, puts Jr in the 25 with Budwieser on the hood. It would be fitting being that Budwieser did sponsor that car for a while. Again, this is a what if, I'm not looking for bashing, or Jr fans being pissed, I'm a Jr fan, but I want to see how Hendrick fans will respond.
