Those guys out on their own, they fail because they have really lacked something. If Jr. is as good as everyone says, he'll do just fine with Hendrick supply! No one has success right away, and Mikey is a good business man, but he should really let someone else drive.

Anyone that wishes Jr. will go out on his own is wishing him to fail miserably (see Michael Waltirp, Ricky Rudd, Darrell Waltrip and Bill Elliot as owner/drivers). That is not a true fan.
A true Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan will wish him well and cheer for him no matter what team he is on.

I thought about this several times over last evening and there's a couple of things regarding the Hendrick possibility that bother me a bit:
First, Jr's fans and Gordon's fans are not very compatible
Second, I agree with one of the posts yesterday that said if he were going to Hendricks then why isn't the announcement coming from Hendricks place of business instead of Jr's
So I'm one of the ones who is expecting an announcement that Junior is going it on his own but perhaps with Hendricks "support".

He will not go out on his own.His best bet is with Hendricks,Childress or Gibbs,He would have a legit shot if he went to Ginn.But odds will put him at Hendricks and the insiders in Charlotte say it is a done deal.
As for crazy there will be 2 or 3 dozen questions asking the same thing after the announcement and they will all want a different answer to the same question.
