I think Junior has been far more competitive then Truex this year. He had a great car at Dover and had the flat which he couldnt recover from. Jr. is still well respected at DEI and in fact I think DEI still giving him the best equipment. Or else it would look bad on their part for giving him terrible equipment and if it was found out the backlash would be fairly large. I think he is bound to win at least once this year w/ DEI.

I think Truex is getting the good stuff now that Jr. has said he is leaving. I also think DEI will spend a lot more money on the cars once Jr. is gone just to make him look bad.

Martin Truex, Jr. is the number one driver at DEI now. He is the future of the team. I would hope that DEI are giving him all of the resources he needs to succeed. He has a lot of incentive to do well, too. I think he will win again before the year is out.

If you were an owner what would you do? Build for the future or help the guy out that's leaving you? Imagine what K.B. is going to get "IF" he really is leaving.
