Santana deal may not happen, and frankly, I d rather go for Haren or Bedard, who may not be as good as Santana, but they are fine pitchers, and wont cost us as much as Santana in terms of players and dollars. What do you think?

First of all, we are not, repeat not, going to get a playoff. That is not an option. So what I suggest is this: The BCS people do not release their rankings until after the conference championships. There are no weekly BCS rankings, only the final rankings.

This would eliminate all of the odd things that happen in the final poll. UGA wouldnt be ranked as high as they were and then dropped/jumped. VT wouldnt have been jumped because they would have never been ahead of LSU......It seems like this would make a lot more sence. And the hype would be just as high for this one time BCS selection thing.

It's a small thing that could make a big difference. Just wait 'till seasons end, then slot the teams. Besides, the final rankings are all that matter anyway. Your Thoughts?

Do you guys have any recommendations on getting a job in the NHL? I'm applying for the New York Rangers internship, but it is unpaid, so I can't commit to the 40 hour internship they offer.

Any ideas? Any internships I should be going for? Any training I should go for?

(Background info - I'm currently a student in New York, majoring in Business and minoring in Economics. I'm a junior, and feel it's too late to switch my major.)

Excuse me for looking at the reality of this -- but the guy wasn't spectacular in his WALK YEAR.. (for all intents & purposes, as we all know).. so, what makes anyone think he'll be a 20-game winner year after year? the Undertaker's match at WM24 will be a bit of a letdown because come on, we KNOW he is going to win. I think the match will need a gimmick such as Hell in a Cell or Buried Alive to get the fans happy enough.

This guy moved the Dodgers out of Brooklyn... and baseball has been on the West Coast for 50 years.. and NOW they vote him in? an owner that's called a 'visionary' of course, by the LA Dodgers' shill Tommy LaSorda. How about that this owner crippled baseball in New York City -- when it was the center of the baseball universe, and led to the RESIGNATION of Jackie Robinson who would NOT go to the NY Giants (by trade) nor to the west coast, where he even STARRED for UCLA, as a college-educated man in the 1940s. He's still called Walter F*cking O'Malley in Brooklyn -- and always will be. He should NOT be a Hall of Famer, because there's NO greatness in this -- MLB should have started a franchise out west... and not allowed the Brooklyn Dodgers to become something less, than what they were... and abandon the best fans EVER in MLB history, like that.

Will the blind OSU hating people ever become objective and present sound thoughts on their opinions? I'm sure anyone with intelligence would respect good debate of topics if it wasn't just blind pro SEC propaganda. Give it up already, the North won! USC, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, etc etc, they are ALL elite perenial teams...... yet it seems anytime any team from the SEC is "dissed" or snubbed, the world might as well have come to an end and somehow the Big 10 or the BCS is responsible for the "conspiracy". Boise State beat Oklahoma last year, Florida beat the buckeyes last year, thats why they play the game. Can someone just end the bandwagon hate machine and present some intelligent debate?

I am considering buying a crossbow. I am familiar with compound long-bows, but I have never used a crossbow. I plan on using it for deer and turkey hunting. Should I seek something with 150 draw weight or larger? What brands have a good reputation? What accessories should I be aware of or consider? I have a Remington 1100 12 ga. which is starting to experience some jamming when the gun reloads. It is ejecting fine, but gets caught just as the new shell is about to enter the firing chamber. Someone told me to clean around the o-ring or remove it, but I would rather seek more advice. What are your suggestions, 1100 owners?
