I say Jose Calderon:

1. In 25 minutes coming off the bench, 7.8 ast per game (9th)
2. 133 assists (7th), 1.4 TO
3. 14.7 AP48 (2nd)
4. 5.78 ast/to (1st)

Also averages 10 pts on 49% shooting, 40% 3pt shoting, .895% from line, 3 reb, 1 stl

Who do you think?

I'm biased as a Raptors fan, but I would have to say Calderon. He's gotten better each season, and has been on fire over the past couple of weeks. I really believe he should be starting, and that team looks like a different when he's on the floor instead of Ford.

Onions, baby, onions. That's what I think of Jose Calderon. I just hope the Raps can keep him on their team past 2008.

I agree but I'd also go with Jason Terry and Leandro Barbosa :) I think if there weren't as many people that could produce on Phoenix or Dallas, these players could score a lot more of the points, I don't think they've really been given the oppurtunity (Leandro won sixth man). Look at Leandro, when he was playing for Brazil in the Fiba Americas, he scored a lot of points (not sure of the average but I do recall him scoring 30 or more in 1 or more games). I love Calderon though, he is a go to guy.

I agree...especially concidering how little he is paid!

Toronto has the best PG in the league ... and he's not necessarily going to start during the play-offs...if T J Ford's health improves to the point where he can resume starting for Sam Mitchell. What a free agent Jose is for this coming off season!

I am sure, if Paul Casol has anything to say about it, his team will pursue Jose Calderon (and perhaps team-mate Jorge Garbagosa when he becomes a free agent a year later)!

I'm sure the Vancouver Grizzlies, or, I mean the Memphis Grizzlies, will go after Calderon for next season, to reunite the off season team-mates!

Especially with the bad feelings about fellow Spanish National Team star Jorge Garbagosa of Toronto, reinjuring his leg, in the FIFA world championships, during the off season, winning a gold medal for Spain last year, and a silver this time, with friends Casol and Calderon.

Leandro Barbosa was 6th man of the year last year .... he's always a candidate for the NBA's best backup PG.

41% from 3, 47% from the field, 17.5 PPG, almost 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals per game to 2 turnovers.

Great supporting cast, great market .....

Calderon is my heart's desire for NBA's best backup, but Barbosa makes a good argument too.

Jason Terry from the Mavs. He's averaging 17 points, 4 assists and 3 boards playing behind Devin Harris. It might not be fair to say cause he's the same as Ginobili and gets tons of minutes, but based on your question Terry is your guy.

properly the two are incredibly shitty besides, yet Blake is the greater constructive participant. Lakers might desire to attempt signing some busts, like Jonny Flynn, Terrence Williams, and Greg Oden, who ought to doubtlessly advance because of the fact they're in l. a..
