Kinda silly question I know, but I'm a beginner and I've just got my yellow tags (some people call them stripes or other names...) but I'm not really sure where I should put them. My teacher said about 3 inches from the end of my belt, but did he mean 3 inches then another 3 and the other one on the same end of the belt?
I know I'm kinda simple, I just don't wanna get it wrong!

Oh yeah.. and no TKD bashing thank-you very much =)

My whole thing is - they got to the N.C. under the currently flawed system...great, way to go. I'm just curious why the entire state of Ohio calls up all the radio stations, are all over the internet message boards saying that they're legit. Do these people really believe that or are they just sticking up for their team? Why is it so hard for them to admit that they played a terribly weak schedule this year? Youngstown State, Akron, Washington and Kent State? Why not toss in a high school team while they're at it? Why do none of them admit that the Little 10 is a horribly weak conference? Or why can't they admit that if they were in the SEC, they would be a 3, maybe 4 loss team? The one tough game they played (Illinois) they lost..at home no less. Is there maybe like 1 objective person in the entire state of Ohio who sees things for what they really are without the scarlet and gray blinders? They also have the nerve to wonder why the rest of us hate them, go figure..

Don't you think they have had enough time off... I have nothing to watch on sunday ( not a football fan) I have a need for speed and need to watch Nascar...
They need to start in January.. not waiting til Febuary.. they can go back to Phoenix to race of Vegas where its warm....

Here we are again. The BCS feeds us crap for a championship game and everyone on the 4-letter network and other national media tell us LSU and Ohio State "deserve" a shot at the championship.

That is Bullspit.

I hate the beauty pagent that changes the best sport in the nation into the biggest pile of crap by the end of the season. Due to my increasing frustration with the idiots that run major college football, I have decided to take action.

I WILL NOT WATCH OR ATTEND ANY MORE BOWL GAMES UNTIL A PLAYOFF IS IMPLEMENTED.

If more people across the nation do the same television ratings will bomb and attendence will decline, sending a strong message to the NCAA and media.

Would you boycott the bowls this year, knowing it would force a playoff next year?

The Yankees and the Boston Red Sox have been competing on and off the field for more than a century. So it is not surprising that the teams are now feverishly competing to acquire Johan Santana, the elite left-handed pitcher from the Minnesota Twins.

Yankees are throwing in Phil Hughes in the deal. After all has been said by the Yankees that Hughes was off-limits, it seems that Yankees had a change of heart and are now in a good position to aquire Johan Santana from the Twins. The Yankees could close this deal by next week acording to some resources.

You think the Yanks will get him?

I think Tedford has alot of talent. I'm not sure you can do much at Cal. I could see him doing very well in the Big 10 at Michigan.

I swear I don't go around picking fights. The reason I'm asking is because older blue collar guys in bars, guys who look like they've had a tough life, hard jobs, and maybe 2 or 3 divorces, always want to beat me up in bars. It's mostly because I look very young for my age and I have a pretty face, and apparently that infuriates these guys.

I'm 25, 6', thin and I work out 3 times a week. I've been able to hold my own in fights against guys my own size. I'm also interested in this to supplement my exercise program.

I have been doing Aikido now for 2 months. Now I'm not really heavy but I am heavier than I should be and also am heavier than I look. I am doing something about it though, and have lost a stone.
In Aikido this week we did the move where u stand back to back and one person lifts the other onto their back. Now I couldn't do this, I had done it a couple of months ago and one guy yanked me so hard, I really hurt my arms now I can't relax when someone tries.

But I am really paranoid also because I think people can't hold my weight on their back. I want a truthful answer, is the reason people can't hold me over their back because I am too heavy or because I am not relaxing? It's was a bit humiliating really and it's put me off Aikido slightly and I don't want to be put off it cause I love it so much. But even my sensei couldnt do it (he does have a bad back at the mo as well and is really small, but I'm not making excuses) honest answer please, why is it that they couldnt do it?

We are going on week 14 now, which game so far sticks out in your mind.
Being a Pats fan, mine would have to be the Pats vs Philly game. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be so close, it was a great game. I don't know if I would call it the game of the year but it was a great game.

Let's face it, the PAC 10 retains none of it's former glory. OK, maybe USC is decent every now and then, but look at who they play! Half of their schedule involve teams with less than .500 records.

Why can't we take USC out of their baby conference, see how they play against some REAL teams (I don't think they will be as good personally). Put them in the Big 12. Trade them with Baylor.

Actually, I am amazed. Even with the easiest schedule of any "good" top-ten team this year (except MAYBE Hawai'i), they still managed to not win their conference, even though it is practically handed to them every year. How sad.

This way, they can quit automatically getting the #1 ranking every year, based on the fact that they went 11-1 the previous year, after loosing to Oregon, and saying they are a great team for only losing 1 game.

I'd bet any money that in any given year, Texas or Oklahoma (or any other decent team, for that matter) could beat them.

What do you think?
