Well, seeing that the Miami Dolphins have 52 current NFL players, and the Buckeyes may have a handful of future ones, I'd say the Dolphins.

Let's see - Ohio State might have 9-10 of their players eventually make the NFL, while the Dolphins were all obviously good enough to make it to the next level.
The Dolphins would destroy them, just as the worst NFL team would beat the best college team in any season. There's just a gigantic difference between the talent level, especially after the first few spots on the roster.

Seriously? No NCAA football team could ever compete with an NFL team, even the Dolphins, hell, even the 76' Bucaneers.
The biggest factor that people fail to mention every time someone asks one of these dumb questions is the age factor. People are quick to point out the talent level which is certainly a valid point but in my opinion the even bigger factor is age. Males peak physically well after their college days assuming they continue to train in whatever field we are talking about. Your average college player is what 20, 21 tops on a senior dominated team? The NFL teams are going to average 25 or 26 at the very least. That's 5 to 6 extra years of development, training, and growth.

Anyone who asks if a college football team could be better than and NFL team has got to be smokin crack. The most elite college teams would have no chance of beating the worst NFL teams such as the Dolphins or the Jets. They play on two entirely different levels.

while I think the dolphins would beat them 9 times out of ten.
they used to have a hall of fame bowl game. it pitted the college allstars against the NFL champ and a team with jack tatum on it beat the NFL team. I think it only happened once. They also used to ask the same question about the old FSU teams in the 90's they used a protype offense

Dumb question... comparing apples to oranges.. sure they are both fruits (football teams) but there is a world of difference between Mackenzies(apples) to Navels(oranges) (college to pro).
Ohio State is better but would get killed by the Dolphins.
Any professional team would run all over the smaller, less developed college team.
